Belief, Digital Audio and Components (20 mins), dimensions variable, 2009-2010.

Belief is a site-specific audio installation that has existed in two locations.  It consists of twelve speakers each with a twenty minute audio track that are mixed to present twelve individual voices speaking their living history of being born into a Christian family. Their stories trace the first recollection of a belief in God through the evolution of that belief or disbelief into adulthood. The stories sample differing beliefs, doubts, fears, invented mythologies, confliction and strong convictions. The two videos show documented excerpts from the piece.
